Use double cross jig heads instead of glue.
You must hold jig by the head instead of the body.
Use pull tabs if you do not prefer to do it this way.

I have got where I use this on all my plastics and it works good. I have went through and glued up up entire bags so all I have to do is tie on and go.

Yep......Grab jighead.....And I always superglue mine now. You will love it if you ever start gluing. I usually glue me up 10 or so of different colors until I run low and glue some more

Add your own grub keeper using 28g coated floral arrangement wire. Keeps any lure up on the hook for over a dozen fish.
Other than the wire, you need wire cutters and pointed nose pliers.Name: jig box_wire holders.jpg

No messy glue, which damages the bait when removed, and the wire lasts forever (as long as the wire is coated.) When the coating comes off, I remove it and wrap another around the base under the line tie.
Even the softest plastic stays on, but it helps to buy no-barb jigheads so as to do the least damage to the lure. (note pictures)
