    Welcome from Central Florida, and thanks for the post about you and the kids. Time spent with them is valuable, and harder to come by as they get a couple of years on them. Any fish is just icing on the cake.

    Took my 4 year old granddaughter for the first time a couple of days ago...she quickly caught three bluegill with a cane pole and said "What's so hard about fishing, Dude?" Then she just wanted to throw bread on the water and watch them eat it. A 30 minute trip but worth its weight in gold...

    Welcome to the boards and spending time with your kids is priceless. The smallest snap you can find works just as good as tying straight to the jig head.
