The seat sets at the seam of the bow rise. The seat would not fit well on the incline.

Here is a few pics of a straight G 3 jon boat that I set up to fish out of,..I have Hi Tecs on the front and rear, put 2 12volt 31 batteries in the gravity feed live well of the front seat a I never used it always used coolers, 25 hp motor with a Bob's trim and tilt plate, Lowrance 5 inch DI fish finders front and back, some low profile rod holders on one side, battery chargers front and back, aluminum floor and front deck to fish off of. The thing I like about jon boats is you can do anything to them will minimal effort and make them as comfortable as you want and never worry about sliming the heck out of them. 1648 G 3 runs 26 mph with 2 and all gear. Enjoy and modify to your hearts content. Name: IMG_0150.jpg

I like the fact that I sit low in the Crappie Jon boat. It is safer for us clumsy old folks. I do not use the Jon much. I use my Pondtoon mostly. The Pondtoon is in a class by itself. It is by far the best old folks fishing boat on the market.

That is the same T&T I have on my Crappie Jon. It works great! A back saver for old folks for sure.

My 15 pushes me and Brenda and minners and bobbers at 25.4 gps on a no wind day. Takes a while to get there though. Crappie john is 1452 in size with a 6* dead rise. Not a speed boat. ha
