mac, They call me the Old Waterfowler Whore on the hunting forums so I guess I can throw my hat in the ring for the future...

I'm in the Springfield area and primarily fish Shelbyville by myself mostly - as it seems few like being on a boat with me during my many times 20+ hour excursions. I will fish overnight for whatever and then the next morning (and beyond as necessary) for Crappie. I tell people who go with me they can join up and leave as they desire - take two vehicles. I love Rend but only go with others there, like Crappiepredator, so I am open to going most anywhere, anytime. Seldom drink anymore but sure as #*@£ swear!

I am still limited to weekends and holidays as I'm not retired yet...

    Send me your number.

I got my boat out for first time on Saturday aftetnoon. Had heard all these stories of being done with limits in record time and prepared for a night time extension if warranted.

As it was first time out by myself since waterfowl season back in September, I wanted to make sure all was well. Got boat backed into water at Wilborn and it wouldn't come off trailer. It finally hit me that while I was so concerned over plugs, I failed to take the transom strap off.

Got it off and backed it in and as I was pulling away holding onto rope attached to bow, the rope caught on something and broke! Took a very nice fisherman 20 minutes to coral it and return to ramp. ..

Semi spider-rig fished and only caught small ones which was running my minnow supply down so went to Findlay Marina to restock and they were out.

So I fished till 9 or so and headed home...it was too damn cold to fish overnight!

Oh great I got some suckers, errr, replies! Well for the next 2 weeks I'll
be at Pomme de Terre for 4 days and then heading out to Table Rock for the rest of the time. I'll be looking forward to doing some fishing with other crabby, cranky, old goats!!!!.
