    Simple. Pour a soft body which looks like a credit card. Put on hook and drop in water. The female will bite it and the male will not.

    I donno, the two I caught over lunch wouldnt tell me if they were boys or girls.

    Theyre still swimming though.

    I think if the mouth closes long enough to take a bait and does not reopen right away it is a male, and if the mouth continues to open and close at a rapid rate it is a female.
