"Always do the best you can, with what you have, wherever you are."

Ship, you struck a note with me. When I was but a lad (4 or five?), my Grandfather Koenig gave me that advice, adding "whatever you are doing, whether it's school, work, sports, or anything else". I have done my best to follow that advice. I have always prayed that I would do my best and be a good witness.
Another piece of advice that Grandpa gave me was that anytime I had someone else's property in my possession, I should treat it better than my own, and return it in as good as, or better, condition.
He was a very wise man, whose advice was sought by every rancher and farmer in the county. He was also a heckuva fisherman, who showed me the ropes of trout fishing.

I got tired of buying bait so I have been using the gulp MINI earthworms on a #10 fly hook for the last couple years. Either under a bobber, weightless (bed fishing) or on a drop shot. I outfish almost anyone around me on QUALITY with the gulp vs live bait.

Worms get by me. We don't get crickets at the bait stores up here. Are they the same type that pets stores carry?
