    It's alright! 1/80-1/100 oz. is perfect for light spinning gear, if not, I'll add some weight to the hook shank.

    And do you have a link on how to tie those bugs you have posted above? I'm kind of a "newbie" to tying flies. Haha!

    Lurecraft.com has several silicone open-pour molds. We use a lot.Might be worth looking at.May have what you are looking for and reasonably priced.Hope this help's.

    Thank you for the info Jackie! I'd look into it more if I wasn't in a machining class. I practically get big slabs of aluminum for $0! Unless I happen to break an endmill, I have nothing charged against me, and since my instructor is cool as ice and is a very knowledgeable person about the industry and good at teaching the tricks of the trade, he doesn't care if I take up the CNC mill.

    I thought about buying hunks of plexiglass and mill it out, but with free aluminum, who wouldn't want to take that opportunity!

    Ill look at their molds for ideas and patterns. Again, thanks!
