Just saw this thread, D, and have been praying. It looks as if God has answered the prayers. My mother eventually died from pancreatic cancer. Hers was not in the duct, so it had spread before it caused recognizable symptoms. Warren was lucky that it was in the duct, where problems arise quickly, and the doctors can remove it before it metastasizes. Will continue to pray that recoveries will be quick and complete.
One of my favorite verses: "The fervent, effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much". Many righteous people have prayed for me, as I've been around through 38 procedures, some minor, some major. including two tumors, skin cancer, and a melanoma.
Perhaps, y'all could pray for my daughter-in-law Lisa. She has had fluid seeping from her legs below the knees, and she has lost most of her skin below the knees. Hopefully, that skin will be replaced by scar tissue that won't split. After several months of treatment, the healing process has started for parts of the affected area. Some of the doctors say it started with cellulitis. Others aren't sure.

Praying for Lisa.God please take the pain from Lisa and heal her. Your will be done through Jesus, Amen. Talked to my friend, he finally gets some broth tonight. His tumor was surrounding his pancreas. It was smashing the duct from the outside.Still waiting on blood and lymph test results. He still has at least 7 days to go before he goes home. Praying for no more cancer in him. Finally let me take my brother home a 4 pm. Well we were in Houston, so icing on the cake was, 1.5 hours for first 20 miles. I got him home at 7:30 and he was beat. I made it home at 10:30. Sure is quiet not being in a hospital. Missed my 12th anniversary on saturday, but made sure to get her gift. Feels good to be home with my lovely wife. Nice and quiet.

Jesus answers prayers my friend. He is an on time God.....yes He is! He may not come when you want Him...but He'll be there right on time.
