Good day yesterday. Caught several in the 1.5 lb range. Ended up with a limit in 17 to 20 ft. Water temp. was 38 deg and murky. Shad are really keeping the lake stirred up. Never seen so many shad in the lake. Minnows and jigs worked well but the larger crappie seemed to prefer a 2 to 3 in shiner

Good day on Kaw after a bit of searching to find them. One 2.4 LBS, one 2.2 LBS, 5 over 1.75, total of 18 over 1.25. Only two shorts all day. Water was 36-38, vis was 12". Used BG storm warning jigs on Timmy toms 1/8 ounce heads, had to hold it dead still in front of there noses for a moment to get them to bite. 15-18 feet deep in 20 -21 feet of water.
