Mr Dux, I can't tell you how happy it made me to read your post. And a good post it was. I have a deep desire to do what you have done and it makes me happy just to read of your success in getting the boat and rigging it with clients in mind. I know you'll do well and send the customers home happy, it's just the way you do things. Congrats on all the firsts today, they gave me a good smile.

You're still the gaspergoo King big fella. Congrats on breaking the boat in. I know a lot of slabs will be coming over the sides real soon.

The Milleniums? They are second to none. I really don't know why my old, aching bones waited this long to get them.

I pulled into Fast Eddies to get gas and went inside for snacks. There were 2 guys at the windows looking at the boat (I thought). Then they asked about the seats. Eddie walked out and looked them over good. He said he had been hearing nothing but good things about them but hadn't seen any up close. He was impressed.

Although it has been nearly 20 yrs since I experienced the 'new boat' feel ,I can remember how great it was. Happy for you, and Merry Christmas.

Smarter then me... My first trip out (very recently) after break in of the new boat I invited my regular fishing buddy along to make him jealous I guess - as here to he has had the better boat by far. So he landed 2 before I put the first over the gunwale. And of course 1 of his was a nice keeper and mine was to short. So were the next 3, progressively getting smaller.

I would have gladly let my wife catch the 1st fish out of the new boat. My hairy hard-ankle buddies? Not a chance! It's been 16 years since my last new boat and this will probably be my last.
