"G" Gone but not forgotten!!
My friend & my uncle. He'll be 81 this year & has caught more fish in his lifetime than I'll ever see 10 times over. He literally fishes every day splitting his time between Kentucky & Florida now that he's sold his farm/retired. He's alone now as his wife passed several years ago & they had no children. He's the only sibling of his generation left. He's my dad's younger brother & on most trips he tells me stories of their childhood together. My dad passed when I was 10 years old & I don't have a lot of memories of him, so his descriptions of the way they lived and the things they did really mean a lot to me. Needless to say I think the world of him.

For me, this was the definitive "Fishing with Friends" trip. We met Cody (Triton20) for the first time at our Reelfoot spring camp. We could tell right off that he was a good guy and enjoyed talking to him. He messaged me last week and invited us to come up to his camp and go fishing today. We spent 7+ hours in his boat, had a great time and it feels like we've been friends for years. That's what it's all about, right? When you get people together who love to crappie fish, friendship just naturally follows. We made some great memories today, laughed a lot and caught fish. You just can't ask for more.
