    Wow the suggestion about using masking tape worked like magic. Even when I did these on my other boat I remember struggling to get the outer sheet off so I could apply the decal. The masking tape worked like a charm.
    Here are a couple of pics from the boat.
    The SC decal had backing paper on it so it was easy to separate but the smaller CDC decals had been in my shop for a year or two and were really stuck together, but I put a tab of masking tape on each side and they came apart like magic.
