Well heck slab. I too have done all my own vehicle repairs. At one time I had a fleet of 6 vehicles I was maintaining. I too have rebuilt a few transmissions, done an engine swap or two. Fuel sending units, bearings, shocks, and the list goes on and on. What is a DISA?

Good luck, I hope they get r done soon.

A disa is a flap in the intake manifold that redirects airflow for low and high rpm. Essentially it lengthens intake runner to increase low end torque. Longer runners increase speed of air flow into cylinders at low rpm for higher torque. And at high rpm you want short runners (less restriction) to let more air in for higher hp. That's all I have for today. Class dismissed. Lol

I would if I could but I can't so I won't. At least for the time being. But it's certainly on my radar. Buy more crappie stuff at crappiewear.com if you want to help slab get a truck sooner rather than later! Lol

Oh and I did like your truck. I liked "g"s gmc too, at least until some stupid dog threw up in it.

The air goes "disa way" or "data" way...just like Ed said.
