If you launch off the private landings along the west levy, stay along the levy going south until you get to the pontoon bridge. It's not too far down. The canal begins off to the left right before the bridge, you'll see it.

I've been looking at an app fishbrain, anyone else played with it? Seems like it'll give you a few ideas.
