Been too long for me to remember, but could be tied on several sizes I would think. Probably Something like 8 to 12 for size range, but don't see why it couldn't be tied on a larger hook like a #6, but not really necessary. The ones in the picture are probably at least a #8, but I am not sure now.

Looks like a modified clouser minnow. Made famous here in pa. Originally designed for smallmouth bass by bob clouser, A variation of a Bucktail streemer.

A good bit different than a Clouser though. I have tied a bunch of them as well. This one is slighter and uses marabou more than the bucktail that is on this one and of course the Clouser is mainly bucktail. Also use's FL Nylon Wool for the body where the Clouser doesn't have a body as such. Know and understand the history of the Clouser, but like these a lot more and plan on trying some this spring under a bobber! Looks though are quite similar, but so many flies are similar to another.
