    Scales will hurt folks feelings! Even here in Ms, a 3 lb fish is a trophy and not common. I usually catch a couple each year. My best day was about 7 years ago. Caught 4 over three the same day.

    3pound Crappie, gawd! Im happy when I get a 3+ pound smallmouth. At least i was last year, Im after some 4-5 pounders this year.
