Tails up or tails down

Interesting, havn't gave it much thought. Wnen walleye fishing the river, the tail alway get hooked on the hook when tail up. I will have to try it tail down. I will almost double the amount of cast by not stopping to fix the tail all the time.

Start up. When it's ripped bad enuff, i turn it down so i'll have a fresh hole.

I've always heard head down and tail up. Oh wait that was at work. Don't think it really matters when fishing.

Agreed, got that tip from Jimmy Holt on the old Tennessee Outdoorman show out of Nashville years ago.

I don't always use curly tails
but when I do they are turned down
