Am cooking a 22# butterball with grandma's sage and onion stuffing, today baked 3 apple pies, have done the same menu for 60 yrs with a gap for Thailand('66) and one for bypass surgery. Menu: turkey w/stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes/turkey gravy, lettuce/apple salad, cranberries, buttered peas(that's peas not southern beans), hot buns, pies: apple, pumpkin, mince and pecan. Then end it all with a good nap.--shu

    Happy Thanksgiving

What's wrong with southern beans? We have blackeyed, conch., crowder, and zipper peas also. You also need to change that stuffing to Grandma's sage and onion cornbread stuffing.
