    Crappie pro suggested sparkles.
Pm me your address and I'll send you a sample beizaire.[/QUOTE]

I like the idea of sparkles added to it. First I've heard of this but definitely interested. Hope you let us know when you have a finished product. Use crappie nibbles but looks like this might not be as easy to knock off.

Slab was kind enough to send me a sample of the Gewbers. It works good as an attractant. What I REALLY like is how well it stays on the hook. The brim can't steal it like the other brand I have used. Good job Slab. Hope you can market it soon! Thanks Cardsfan55

I wish. He got out of the business when his job got sent to Mexico. He has been retired for about 10 years now. Heck, he can barely see well enough to get a hook tied on the line. But he still out fishes me!

What about using a jerky gun wrapped with heat tape? The holding tube of the gun is anodized aluminum, so it would be pretty good at distributing the heat evenly. That would probably keep your product soft enough to be piped out of the unit in skinny "Slim Jim" fashion.

It's certainly worth a try, but it's more like a jello type product, starts off liquid and hot, then has to set like jello. It takes a while to set. I'm not sure it can really be extruded. If its done hot, or even too warm, it'll just set up after becoming a puddle. A mold works better for this type of product. Or I suppose just the perfect temperature. I need to know more about how licorice is made maybe.
