    I'm set up with 10' and 12' for Spider Rigging, these things are bullet proof. I stayed with 8' light action ugly sticks for the short side because I like the uglys for long lining cranks off the back of the boat. I would have gone Southern for those also except I'm too attached to the short uglys.
    Can't go wrong with the Southern Crappie rods.

    I too have been pleased with southern crappie rods. Good backbone but not too stiff and still very sensitive. A definite upgrade from the bargain jig rods I previously used for spidering.
