    Default Yellow line

How many of you guys use the hi vis line and do you feel it makes a big difference on bite detection? I've mostly used clear mono but I have used fireline before but nothing hi vis... I was thinking I should atleast use clear blue fluorescent but wanted to ask opinions

Yes. Try a spool & you won't look back.

I used it for the last year. No difference to me. I can see line better and fish don't.

I've used hi vis line for over 30 years and I wouldn't use any thing else. People use to tell me back in the 70's and 80's that it would scare the fish. Now being up in age and not seeing as well as I use to, the hi vis works great and I've always caught my share of fish.

Side kick and I use Hi-vis yellow also. I have not found any lack of bitting due to it. I get it from MONKS CRAPPIE. I have tried "Mr Crappie" line but we both like the visious 4, 6, 8. Just my thoughts.

I was a clear using dude, until about a year ago. I will never go back to clear. I use the hi-vis Viscous from Monk's, too. My hook-up ratio has improved with hi-vis line. After fishing side-by-side with Hi Vis users and seeing them catch more than me, I needed to try it. Make the switch!

Hi-Vis for sure! Vicious 4lb or 6lb. I use it and love it! I can see the line as it moves and tightens.........makes a difference for me.

I think you will find that most the regulars here use hi vis line. I learned from fishdoc that you are not waiting to feel the bite but rather are watching your line for the slightest tick or irregularity which is hard to do when not using hi vis line.

I have used hi vis line for years but I switched to sufix elite 6 pound test in orange and yellow. Some of the smoothest line I have ever cast with and has almost no line memory. Give it a try and you will not be sorry.
