Tough first day on shenango for me. Caught over twenty crappies but all but 7 were too small. I'll find those bigger ones before the week is over.
Sparkie, congrats on your day. Some nice sized fish, and a good number caught. Check your PM's please.

Here's the pic of the crappies i got that day.
Thanks for sharing Chaunc. Are you doing any good now?. Getting things fixed on my truck, and inspection. Then will see if the boat motor will start, and all is good with the trailer. Then go online to get the boat and trailer licensed. Hope to be on the water soon. My neighbor bought a used pontoon, and is docking it at RC's, so can go with him, till I get mine done.
Sounds like you waited too long to get started on the boat work. You're going to miss the best part of the spring season with all that work.
nice Chaunc! I know you will find em haha good job. Have you ever gone down to Reelfoot? Ive been wanting to go down an check it out but don't know anybody who has first hand
Went down there with a group of 9. We went in mid-may and the crappie bite was over. We fished for bluegills as i had heard they were huge there. To put it bluntly, i'll never go there again. To me, Ky lake has better crappies and gills. Why go that far when i can do better a little closer. To each their own tho.
Right on, thanks for the info! Ky lake it is then
Couple pics from the last trip to ky lake Did good on the gills and cats.
