I just ordered the 36v with charge on the run, thanks Impulse for the discount. I had decided to order the Nex Gen - same set up. Pricing was good, the website told me all the things I wanted to hear. Tried to check out (3) times with a credit card - no luck. Called to place the order - No Answer.... the phone rang out and disconnected. I can just imagine trying to contact someone there for support or warranty - NO WAY!!!!

Great to hear Impulse came through for you. And with Impulse, you have the owners direct phone number. It's just like having a great mechanic for your car that you trust, worth their weight in gold. Right!

I took a look at the site. Is that true, that you sell a 24 volt trolling system that will recharge while the motor is on? How's that work if your motor is on 12 volts. Or did I read that wrong?

YES, we do. It is a DC charging system that will work with the AC charger and the outboard and charge when plugged up to shore power and also charge when you are running around the lake.

We currently offer this system in a 36v and 24v

Now that is some cool technology right there. Not sure I need it cause generally I don't fish real long. But tourney guys and all day fishermen will likely appreciate that.

Impulse Lithium, I currently use two 12v golf cart batteries for my 24v trolling motor. I do a lot of trolling at up to 2mph and I can get a full day out of my batteries. Can I get that much run time out of the 24v 60ah lithium battery?

Conventional batteries (AGM / Lead Acid) are, at best, good for 50% of the rated capacity. So a 100Ah AGM battery will net you around 50% or 50Ah of usable energy. Our Lithium products have cylindrical cells and can be discharged 100% so you will get the total 60Ah if using a 24v-60ah battery

It is typical to see much longer run times with Lithium

I spoke to them yesterday and was impressed with their knowledge and suggestions for the equipment if have and Livescope to be installed.
