Thread: participants wanted for traveling crappie tackle box

I am hoping this is the right area to put this in.

So here is my thought. I have done this before on other websites and it has worked very well. And thought I would do it here.

Here is how it works.

I'll fill a box up with crappie related items. New and slightly used, No well used, worn out items.

I ask for participants to send it to.

I will send it to the 2nd person on the list.
They will take out what they want, need or can use.
They leave what they don't want in the box.
They add items to the box they don't want or can't use.
They ship the box to the 3rd person on the list and it starts over again.

The only rules are:
Take as much as you want,
Leave in what you don't want or can't use.
Put in items you have that you don't want or can't use.
then ship to the next person on the list.

This is a honor system.

Since this is a Crappie website I think all the items should be Crappie related.

Now the box could weigh 2 pounds, It could weigh 50 pounds. It will be a gamble of what it will weigh and how much stuff will be in the box and if there will be anything in it that you can actually use.

This is a way to get rid of some of your unwanted junk, "One man's junk is another man's treasures." and it is like Christmas when you get the box as you don't know when or what you will get.

The only other thing is when you get it let us know you got it and when it will be on the road again on this website.

The only change I think I would do for shipping cost is make the list by states.
The first time I did it the package went from Ohio to Texas to Indiana to Texas to Ohio to Texas. That cost a lot to ship. So I think I would put the states together.

Since I am from Ohio. I would start there and then from there do it in alphabetical order by states. Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas and so on. I think this would save on shipping. I also think we should keep it within the 48 states, again for shipping cost.

If you want to participant just email me with your Name, Mailing Address, and Email address and I will put you on the list, First Come. First Serve, by states. This will be closed on Monday Oct 27, 2014 and the adventure will begin!
