Default Sniper Pro grubs are up

We now have our Sniper pro Grubs up on the site to purchase by the pack. These grubs have a glass smooth, round body perfect for shooting docks. Put it on a 1/32,1/24 or 1/16 oz jig and your ready. Just shoot it and let it fall giving a slight twitch as its falling to trigger the strike.Home - Micro Spoons & Jigs

Actually, Keith ... I don't see why they wouldn't work for long line trolling. They may not have any imparted action to them, from their shape design ... but, their profile should still represent a "fish", so they'd still be considered (by the Crappie) as "food".

IMHO - at speed, the fish are attacking the bait (jig, etc) on impulse/reaction, and not taking the time to closely scrutinize it .... while at very slow speed, such as casting/swimming the bait or jigging it in place, they may check it out a little closer. They decide to inhale the bait during the slow presentations ... so why would they not during long line presentations ?

You might be selling yourself short, by indicating that these particular baits are "one dimensional". Considering that, even while long line trolling, your boat/rods are not moving in a perfectly smooth manner ... even baits without "built-in" action (like paddle tails, curly tails, tubes) are still going to be moving at erratic speeds & motion, simply from the movement of the boat (due to waves, wind, speed changes, turns, & rod tip reactions to them).

no your right, it has just done better for me under docks and in the brush. I used to troll hair jigs all the time at 1.2mph and they didnt have any action bt still caught fish as good s the other guy in the boat pulling triple tails. I do have a trolling bait in the works, just not sure how long its going to take to get the molds cut.
