Default Master of Fishless Fishing, CRex and PWR 198

It wasn't till this morning I think I might have found reason for our unsussessful BASHING. Maybe this will make CRex feel alittle better along with Daddyo. What we did not take into consideration was the time of year, the fish had already gone down and the wind direction. We were the only ones who stayed on the North side of the Lake. The top weights where all caught on the South side of the lake. I always been told that the fish head to where the warmer water is stacked up. With the sun warming the surface water and the wind being out of the North and Northeast makes sense the fish were over on the South banks. Fishing Rudds, Butchers and Eastland was fishing water devoid of fish. Only thing those fellows at the ramp said was that they caught their fish on the "other side". Sounds like a good excuse if nothing else.

Tell you what father O the next bash we fish if Ron can't make it you will be the first one I ask to go with me. If you can't make it CRex will be the next one. Anyone who fished as hard as the two of you did and didn't catch a fish I do believe the Gods of Crappie Fishing has a message to send to the both of you. Don't team up together again. Things will get better and your day is still ahead.:D

    Hey Andy,
It's funny you mention the wind/stacking up theory because I have noticed the same thing the last several times in the Elizabeth River. The fish were always stacked up in the windblown coves.
It'll be the first place I try next time out instead of realizing it later on.

FreeFlow 23 try it and let us know. I have heard this along time ago but never paid any attention to it. We all know that in the Spring the reverse is true up at the lake. Eastland, Sandy, Butchers, Panhandle and Rudds all seem to turn on before Grassy. Wind is out of the South mostly at that time. Dave and Doc should have some input to this.
