Thread: Saturday-Suffolk-80 and one monster.

My third crappie of the day out of 80 was a beast. 2lb 9oz and 17.5". While I have caught two others at 2lb 9oz this is my first crappie over 17".



This is citation #32 for me and another magnet on the fridge much to the chagrin of my wife.

It was caught 15' down over deep water with a black/pink BGBS. I did well with this color as well as Blue Ice with a handful on a black/blue with chartreuse curly tail jig. I was on the lake at sunrise and had 50 at the 3 hour mark and then another 30 over the next 3.5 hours. Most were caught either 15' down or 20' down. I showed water temp at 56.
