Tap, I say very nice going times 64.
With three days of rain and cold conditions I figured it would be a challenging day on the lake and I was right for the first 4 hours as all I had to show for it were 2 crappie. Then I decided to head into creek arms and fish fall downs, then I caught another 62 and left them biting. I had bought a bunch of new BGBS and started out with Eclipse a flavor I had never tried as it was very cloudy and dark. I probably got 20 or so with this color but then the sky lightened up some so I switched to Halo which looks similar to Key Lime Pie and probably got 40 with this new flavor. The vast majority were around 9" with a few at 10", not sure I even had one that went 11" but what the heck, 64 is the most crappie I have caught in 2.5 years and although they were small I had some fun. (not so much fun the first 4 hours) I fished from around noon to nearly 7:00.
I showed the surface water temp at 67 and had best luck fishing the end of a laydown in 13' of water counting down to 7.

very good day
Thanks for the report, Tap, and good job. We had a discussion about the size of BM fish a couple of years ago, and based on the size of the ones you caught, it seems like things at BM could be about the same.
Good job George!!! Thats a good pattern for that lake for numbers.
I sure feels good to feel the thump! I love it when I can count down 1--2--3--4--5-- twitch the rod and fish on! It never gets old.
That's a darn good day! I'm selling my house on the lake if you are interested, would keep ya from trailering.
