Short trip but good catch

I got out this morning with a friend and had a good time. The temp was 49 when we started and didn't get much warmer until we got off the water at 11:30. We wound up catching 25 crappie, all between 11" and 13". I took home 10 fish for the a couple dinners and returned the rest to bite another time. I found the fish stacked up in a few areas but had a hard time to get them to bite. Everything caught tight lining using curly tail jigs. Acid rain was the hot jig for today with bubble gum coming in second place.

Great report Mister Vic!!!! I'll be glad when I my boat finished so I can do some crappie fishing. Those fish are really nice size fish.

That's cold. Glad you had some fun. I am so accustomed to fishing in shorts and sandals it's always a bummer to have to put them away but I know we still have some warmer days ahead of us.
