    Default I just insured my brand new jon boat for the year for $137


    I finally got around to adding boat insurance on my new crappie jon that I purchased last month. $137 for the year. I know quite a few members have gotten their boats stolen and did not have insurance. $137 for a year seems reasonable to me. I have both my boats insured through Boats US. You do have to become a member for like $30 a year. Just thought I would share this.

    I also did boat US for many yrs. Towing on water! and road side assistance for cheap.

    Mine is attached to my homeowners insurance. I can't remember what it cost but its around 100 bucks

    I tried to insure mine a few years ago. Being as it was built in 1967, they guy wouldn't even talk about it. Now my saltwater boat ( 27' center console), she's so insured, I won't even be upset as long as I have time to get everybody in the life raft.

    Most places give discount if you have house, car, boat etc all in some place. Mines with State Farm 14k boat for $180 a yeAr
