    Default Suffolk lakes 13 April

Started at Western Branch and the parking lot was near full with bikers and boaters I wanted to turn around but tried a couple spots that had structure on them with absolutly no action I fished for maybe an hour and a half and decided to leave to another suffolk lake.....finally found fish in 20-23 FOW about 3 feet down.
I didn't have a counter but I caught around 40 fish all crappie, average was 9-11.5 no really big ones but they were real aggressive they hit minnow and jigs equally, water temp stayed in the 70s pretty much all day
Brought home 21 keepers they were still bitting when I left at 4:00.
I caught one on a gold hook with green gulp minnow tipped with a nibblet I thought that was pretty cool
the jig with the most action was pearl with red head.
(Sorry can't seem to upload pictures will try again later)

    it's cold.. it's raining....it's too windy...
    "fish on!!!"
(What a great day for fishing) lol.

I've seen a lot of bikes pulling trailers but that is a first.
