Nice report and pictures. That's some really nice ring perch. Good to see you back out on the water.
Shared the bite that Corker and I left Monday with my friend Donnie. He's kinda new and has just started fishing LCR this spring. He is impressed we the LCR fishery. We had a super day again. Conditions were almost the same as Monday except the water temp has dropped a few degrees. The grass is starting to grow and the water is already being draw out of the lake. Looks like about a 9" drop since last Friday. At least the pumps have stopped since the rain. Fish have moved around to different spots as always, you just got to find were they are on a given day. Yesterday was a Ring Perch bite day. All together four citation rings, biggest was 13 1/4". I estimate we landed about 20 nice keeper (11+") size with as many smaller ones went back. Picked up a lot of small 9" crappie. A few good fish would come along every now and then. The biggest was a 14"er and 6-8 13"'s. As usual the pike were being a pain in the butt.
Took along the striper rigs and tank but for the third trip no bait was to be found.
TWO NICE ONES
