    Default Left them biting!

Yesterday, Doodlum joined me for a lovely day at LCR.

We found them biting as soon as we hit the first spot-

and left them biting at the end of the day!

In between, we landed approximately 100 specks (34 keepers, including 3 over 13" and 2 over 14").

Ringers were also plentiful--including 3 that topped 12" and enough 10"+ to add up to a nice meal.

Kitties, pike, greenies, and even a walleye kept us busy when the speck-bite slowed.

WT was 85* to 88* and visibility was 8' or better. Fish were stacked on structure, hiding in grass beds and lined up at dropoffs. Most of the day, our baits were set at least 8' deep. Occasionally, we dropped them to 15' to 20'. Jigs didn't get much attention, but small minnows were a huge hit!

Just went through 3 months of squamous cell on my right arm...Three surgeries, two ultra sounds, and one lymph node removal..

Scared the crap out of me..I have a hat like Doodlum's and now wear it all the time with plenty of sun screen...

I use plenty of sun screen most of the year, never wear shorts, and normally wear a long-sleeve shirt.

Yep, that pic got a belly laugh.. (only corker could pull off that look)
I have looked at the hat's like Pete has on, but it just doesn't look right on my head.
My ears have been peeling all year,,, and my dad has had large chucks removed from his ears to due to sun exposure.
    Guess hat is better.............
