HeyCharlie, nice catch. I was out on Burnt Mills today but didn't have as much fun as you, 3 pickeral, nice perch, 1 redear, and a small bass. Did have a guy give me a nice crappie back at the ramp, but I can't be 100% positive Burnt Mills has any crappie. Taking the boy out again tomorrow. Oh, and with skills like that you (well anyone for that matter) are more than welcome to join me.

Yes sir! Today was a great day to be on the water!!! Light winds, temps were mid-50s to mid-60s, and mostly sunny. Water temps ranged from mid-50s to 61*. Water clarity has improved in the past week, but the level is down a foot.

That's a fine looking new used boat Charlie. Give it about 24 months and you'll get it rigged up just the way you want it. (That's a couple of fine looking slabs, too!)

Fish have moved toward the backs of coves & spawning should be under way. I tossed a jig up into the shallows in several places, but no bites. A little farther out, in 10' of water, the bite was good at 6' to 7'.

For the day, I had 28 specks of various sizes--nothing above 13", however.
    Fishing since '50!
