I not only passed by the river yesterday, I fished it as well and the water was clear and clean. As a matter of fact, Josh Clark went down past the state park and said it was clear there as well. The bite was really good too. Go to Bob's Fishing Hole Bragging Board for his pics and I think Dennis posted how well he did. Josh told me he caught more than 50 and I saw several jumbos in his livewell. I was only able to fish an hour and a half before dark but managed to catch about 12 crappie and 6 yellow perch. Again, I just ran out of daylight. I will be back out there after my class today.

The river was the cleanest I've seen it in a while. I know the rains may mess it up, but I'm gonna be out there getting me some while the getting is good. Hope to see you guys on the water. I'll be the one in the gray jon boat with the bass seat on my front deck.
