Here's the 2 winning spots: 1)- Mouth of the last ceek on the left before you get to snake island.
2)- Mouth of State line creek
Fish will come off the bottom in 6 to 8 fow.

I curious to see the size bobber you will have to use to keep a 2oz sinker off the bottom plus the weight of your three baits. I use a fairly large bobber to keep a 3/8oz off the bottom with only a hook and minnow.

Tap my plan was not to keep the sinker off the bottom but for the bobber to keep the line in a vertical position within the water colum.

Andy, I sent you a PM
Andy, taps got a point i didnt want to question you on it earlier but here I go,
You would need a 3 in "think baseball size" bobber to hold that 2 oz and bait up.
if you fish that rig but without the bobber your line will cut through the water and will remain vertical, whether your tightlining up off the bottom OR bottom bouncing if your fishing straight down by the boat...just keep your line tight and you shouldnt have a problem..
now if your bottom bouncing in 15 FOW with 28 ft of line out.... No your line isnt going to be vertical..
Sorry if im speaking out of turn...

I spent the first hour at work trying to find out where those coordinates are on the river. Once I figured out the difference between degrees and decimal minutes and degrees/minutes/seconds I was able to pin point them with percise accuracy. That is the same general area I fished last year. We will see how it works out. Might slip down below the line and fish the creek mouths a little.

Tap and PP my orginial plan is now changed. I will now use the same hook set up but go to a much lighter weight. Probably 2 or 3 large shot. Before I was going to anchor and fish with the sinker down on the bottom with the bobber set at 8' fishing 10 to 11 FOW. The bobber is completly out of site and is really just there to try to keep the upper two hooks up off the bottom and close to their assigned depth in the water colum. I have now got instructions to have the boat moving so I think I'll try drifting and bumping the tm. Therefore I just want the bottom hook down near the bottom with the weight keeping it near there. Started out last year using this same method and by 12:00pm ended up anchoring. We did better anchored then when moving.

Andy we used a TM bump and drift pattern when Gibby and I won the bash. I have anchored when the wind is bad and we have marked fish in that area. I like to move when I can.
