Default Cardinal 3 or 4 spool (broken)

Does anyone have a broken cardinal 3 or 4 spool. I need the part that has the button on top.

    Thanks,

    Scott

Ok, I have a Cardinal "800 series" SIZE 4........it does have a button on top, but I'm not sure if this is what you want. I'll post a picture later. The reel is toast, but the spool is fine.

are ya referin to the ol Zebco Cardinal 3's an 4's? if so is it the small button or the newer large ones? I have 6 or 8 of these ol reels that I still use. wvspec just ask me about a custom made medal spool for the 4's that he found on the 'net. I think I have a broken one with the big button, I'll check.

I was wondering the same thing Doc. It seems there's several different Cardinal 4s. I think the one you're talking about is green.
When I googled Cardinal 4 last night, got several Ebay hits and people are paying over $100 for those old Zebco Cardinals.

Yes, T am talking about the old Zebco cardinal reels with the green plastic spools. I have been talking to WVspec about making spools as I have a machine shop. My only concern is the mechanism that attaches the spool to the spindle. The machining on the spool is cake work.

    Thanks,

    Scott
