Default Barely avoided a James river skunk today.

Drowned minnows from 11am to 3pm. Main river structure, all depths to 22'. Surface water temp 33 degrees. Ice chunk and lots of wood debris. As far as I can tell a crappie didn't even sniff our minnows today. Did save the skunk with a pair of largemouths once the sun peaked thru.

    KInda Sad.

I'm gonna have to hit Lake Chesdin and catch me some fish.

    Merry Christmas everyone.

This is not Bass Central, please refrain from posting pictures of trash fish. Now get back out there and catch a crappie. :D

Merry Xmas back atcha. Even Tap ol hard-fishin no nonsense dude he is, got me rollin around tonight. Thats one heckuva pic of ya. Nice duds, look nice n warm, but you go to MN dressed like that and you will hear the accordians start playin.........
Yur a tougher nut than me to willingly spend yur free time out there. I like Longjohns Ilver on a Wed for my fishing fix. The VA Gazette comes out that day and I have an 8 piece Fins N Gills Platter with the Wahoo Wingz for an appetizer and read the paper near the heater.
Just what kind of tolerance for the cold you have is evident when I think that heat rises and you aint operating in the warmer elevations a bit homey.
