    Post 11-28 Blackwater River


    Finally got my girlfriend out of the house about 12 oclock, went out to check on the minnows left over from yesterday, was surprised to find the water had froze over but luckily the minnows were alive and kicking:D

    We fished canepoles with fixed bobbers and spinning rods with slip bobbers at 6 ft over 18 - 32 FOW in heavy structure, had a bunch of 10-11.5 ers... 4 or 5 dinks... two at 12"

    My girlfriend was bundled up so tight i dont think she could put her arms down:p Tryed to keep her in the sun all day.. we only fished four spots but had luck at all of them.

    Nice job getting the girlfriend out and fishing on a cold day. I hope to hit the BW on Friday weather permitting.
    My bait is guaranteed to catch fish or die trying.

    Good report. Great job getting the gf on fish. Those are some good pictures which show off some nice fish. Congrats to both you guys.
