    Default A little late

I was at the chick lake yesterday, I'm a little late with this post but better late than never. Caught a total of 27 crappie and 4 or 5 green carp. The best crappie was 13.75", most others were 10" to 11.5". Caught most of them pulling corks and minnows,a few on jigs only. Water temps have gone down some 63 at 7:30 am up to 65.5 at 1:30 pm. Fish were all caught 5' to 7' down over 9' to 14' of water.

I posted this post twice by mistake, sorry.

    Beautiful day on the water

    A nice 13.75" fish

Tap, I haven't fished the river this fall yet so I don't know which would be better.

Thanks for the report AM. I hope the weather and the bite stays stable.
And Tap? I seem to recall you fishing the last Chick Bash, putting your rookie status in question.

tap the tidal river is not like fishing our rivers close to home. i would stick to the lake. same pattern as our rivers.
