The closest Lund dealer to me is just over 150 miles away in Fredericksburg. They only have three boats on their lot, all from 2005-brand new, just can't sell.

I'm heading back to West Virginia on Tuesday, I think I'll stop by and have a look, can't hurt.

Tap, I was at Greentop today and climbed around the V16 Tracker they have. I now have to change my opinion on the bigger boat. That Tracker 16 has plenty of room. I really like the space. You have some tough decisions to make.

    It will be fun.

Tap, I am now living in LUND country and can tell you they have a challenge on their hands with Alumacraft. Used to be nothing but Lunds, when I grew up here, that has changed. Either the Navigator or Classic are good boats. I lean towards the Navigator myself. The Classic has been a staple for some time. My brother works on boats and you see many come in that are older, but still in great shape. He has the Alumacraft Tournament Pro 185CS, which has the 2X hull and it is one heck of a boat. I fished out of it for a week this spring and will be next week on an open and rough lake. It rides great in huge waves. Very open boat, lots of storage. Close to the same as the Navigator. My opinion, get the wider-longer boat and a carport.

Berd, I walleye fished the missouri river a couple weeks ago and my family has always had lunds. My dad has a new warrior boat and that thing is the best river boat I have ever been in. I think he paid 45 grand for it but what a sweet ride.

I personally think LOWE is the way to go .........I am hard on everything I tear rears out of 4x4's and trannies out of drag cars , suspensions out of four wheelers and been known to open the bow of a tracker before ....but these lowes will go I get into 8" depths in some creeks and beach it for lunch and other shore breaks and push it through major swells and after 20 yrs. she is in need of nothing structurally

Slabs boat is a fishing machine. I never even have set foot in a Lund its just the years of watching the Lender bros work from them and the fact that I love the floorplan that would make me want one if I was Rich!!

taking nothing from Lund they are top of the line and have a history to prove it.. but are expensive as a grady white and or a Parker and now they have a fiberglass series for even more stability ...........

You know, the toughest part here is so many manufacturers do not have a dealer anywhere near me that has a boat that I'm interested in and can see in person. The closest Alumacraft dealer that has a boat on their lot that I like is 300 miles away. Most the other dealers do not even have the boat I'm interested in on their lot. (and even if they did they're all about 150 miles away) I can see why Tracker is the #1 selling boat in America. I have two BPS within 2 hours of here and each of them has a boat I'm interested in.
