Very nice! If you don't watch out I think you may be able to fish all the crappie out of LOP the way you're going!! LOL
I went back on LOP on the stumps again. they were kind of biting slow and a lot of dinks, but I wound up with 13. I had a couple of pretty nice ones. They were very scattered and had to keep moving. I finished up at Alley bridge and caught 3 more. I caught on both minnows and jigs. the color of choice was red and chart. tube jig. I had Blessed day!

I usually get every other friday off from work so thats my best chance to sneak out with my boy and try to nab a few.

I was raised running trotlines when we had a boat or going bream fishing in an old pond by my great grandmothers house l. Some of the best times I can remember and I want to give my boys the same things. If youre up for a friday trip sometime maybe we can get together and wear them out. Maybe teach me a few things or two!

I bet that was some fun times. That is what every child needs is memories. Let me know when you would like to try them and I will try to make it. As far as learning from me, I will show what I do. Keep in mind up until about 4 years ago I was the worlds worst fisherman, but we will have fun trying!
A day on the lake is always a good day....unless you forget to put the plug in the boat. Not that I have ever done that and almost sunk my boat at Brushy Creek.
Summer time I usually just hit the stumps and maybe a bridge or two to see if anything is under them. I dont have electronics yet so Im limited to what I can see.
