    Default Lake Aquilla

Anyone here fish Aquilla? I was there last Saturday and heading back this Saturday. Very, very few under the bridge. Found them around the humps stacked around bait balls.

We're heading there this afternoon, will hit the piles for sure. The corps put some new ones in early this year across from the ramp. Gonna hit them all.

It was pretty darn windy, couldn't feel or see a bite a lot of the time. Need up with 14 keepers and probably double that we had to let grow up. I caught most of mine on jigs, my brother caught most of his on minnows. Name: FB_IMG_1507418027527.jpg

purple and blue are colors that they like in that spot as I remember , I did well on some kinda crappie magnet thing with a split tail in a dark blue with glitter . don't know if that's the pattern there these days as I have not hit it in at least 2 years but it might be something to think about ....luck to ya
