Those are some nice ones guys.
We had another 4 hour crappie trip this AM. We had a limit by 9:00 AM and 2 more keepers by 9:06 and then the fish turned off like throwing a light switch. We tried a couple more spots, but to no avail. TVA running 13,000 CFS and water temp is near 80 degrees. It was nice and cool when we started (57 degrees) and long sleeve shirts felt good all morning. Low humidity and no wind makes for a comfortable fishing trip.
Our catch was basically divided between off shore drop offs, bluff, and docks. Chicken on a Chain by Bass Assassin Pro Tiny 2" lures was my dock shooting lure that worked great. Off shore we stuck with Bobby Garland Minnow Minders and Baby Shads. Gary caught a chunky 4+ lb LM Bass on a bluff today and I added a nice white bass along with the crappie. I kept one limit for my kids. My off shore lure was a 3" Slab Slayer in the Lovebug color. Grin.
Very few pics today.
