    Default Loudon Help

I am new to crappie fishing other than the spring spawn and would like some advice on where to start. Me and my son plan on fishing in Ish Creek on Monday and want to learn how to long line troll. I am not looking for anyones spot just some advice on where to start looking for fish this time of year.

    Thanks in advance!!

In Ish Creek, I would look around the creek mouth. Near the two green buoys at the mouth, the water is fairly deep. With the nice weather in the forecast for Monday, as well as it being a holiday, I would also look at where the boats are congregated.

I'm newer to the lake and haven't fished Ish Creek yet, but I've had good success longlining Sinking and Turkey Creeks over the past month or so. I've been catching them in anywhere from 12-20 fow. Out of three trips, blue black chartreuse was a consistent color (although that can always change at any time). Look for points and humps around that depth range.

Thank you guys!!! I may switch and go to Turkey Creek I forgot about the holiday and as ET Fish said it may get crowded at Ish Creek.
