I wouldn't mind finding out what's going on down there also, I'm going to head down on Sat. or Sun.
Any reports on Reelfoot lately? Haven't heard anything about fishing in a while. Since duck season is over there should be some good reports coming out soon.

We put the whoop on them last Friday and Saturday. Went back Tuesday and got 22 or 23. Slowed a bit, water was at 32-34 degrees, wind was south at 10-20mph. Not sure about the shad kill, didn't see any signs of one. No ice anywhere that we found, going back Saturday. Been working on them at Wappapello pretty steady.
Thanks, the Friday Commercial Appeal fishing report said they were killing the crappie at Reelfoot. It was not uncommon for boats to catch a 100 fish per day. Pretty interesting.
I'll let you know, headed there this weekend.
It's been a cold week. I think everyday this week
it was in the High 20's in the morning. might need the
longjohns and the heater.
Fished Reelfoot for over 30 years, and I doubt you can catch a 100 fish in January.....little bit of a stretch in Jan & Feb. Catch some of my best fish in Jan - Feb but not hundreds.

How about it Cracker, you do any good today?
Put in at Walnut log and went out toward Curlins blind. Fished around Carter's Blind and in the pocket behind the airpark. NO FISH. NO STRIKES.
Two buddies went between Caney and Spain point on the South end and caught 16, but not like the good ones we've been catching on the north end.
Im out for a few days.
