It was going to be a nice day today and I had fishing on my mind.
But with oil changes, ball games, errands, and such I wasn't sure I would get to go at all.
When all was said and done it was a little after 3pm.
That doesn't leave a whole lot of time to fish before dark around 6:30 but I guess I will have to take what I can get.
Got on Tellico Lake at 3:30pm and started pulling planer boards.
I stayed busy the whole time catching a limit of crappie withing 1.5hrs.
Culled for the next hour and ended with 42 crappie caught with 29 keepers.
Charlie Brewers Sliders in black/chartreuse performed the best on a 1/16 oz jig head.
I guess sometimes it just pays to get out there when you can.
Sure glad I'm home now because I can hear it pouring the rain out there now.

The link is a short video clip of what a fish hitting on a planer board looks like for those who have asked about it and never done it.

    Thanks for sharing

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there is no one out to get you
