    Default Paris, TN

The wife and I are looking for a weekend get away for the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of February around there. I may have her talked into a fishing trip (maybe) with her going fishing. What is a good place to stay with rooms and a bar grill or restraint in the hotel. Is their a guide in the area that you would recommend for her to fish with. I would tag along but would just set back and let her have the fun.

A little pricey, but the cabins at Paris Landing State Park are awesome!
There is also an Inn there that's a bit cheaper. Food on site and a boat ramp to boot

I would definatly give Richard Williams a call, he is 1weezer on the site but is not on here often. Probably the best guide on that end of the lake. Also definatly eat at Mia Mios it is right by Paris landing. Best food anywhere around.

Fishtale Lodge - you can get a room or a cabin and they are definitely fisherman friendly. There's a walking path from the hotel to Meo Mios http://www.meomios.com/PARIS_LANDING_LOCATION.php

All of the rooms at the state park inn at Paris Landing have a view of the water, which is nice, but honestly, the food quality has really gone down hill while the price has gone up.

If you drive into Paris, the Olive Pit has great food also and you can visit the mini Eiffel Tower or go to the Paris Winery. I'm not a big wine person, but their Tower Red is awesome. They have free wine tasting every day and a bistro restaurant too. I've never eaten there, but it always smells good.
