    Default Latest on the Fall Get Together


    Talked to Sailfish and tnhooker both yesterday. weighted in on several issues, like when will it cool down, winter drawdown by TVA, camping facilities, and dates. If anyone has any knowledge about Harrison Bay campground having a severe ant problem let me know ASAP. I have heard this from several locals. Date will either be Oct. 2 or Oct 9th. Hooker and I have some more refining to do but should know more by next week. I will say you are in for a treat in regard to live entertainment. If you have a tallent throw your weapon in the truck and join in. Like to have a 1 day tournament followed by bar-b-que and get-to-gether. The day before can be optional. I can meet everyone on Friday morn just to show you around a little. prob hooker will come along if possible he knows the lower end of the Chick better than I. Thats about it if you have any questions or suggestions shoot me a personal. Tenncrappie

    October sounds real good for us. I hope to be in good enough shape to make the BBQ. I hope I am able to start fishing in the fall. Recovery has been rough. I haven't been in the boat in over a year. My son got the boat out of the garage hooked up the muffs and the old Evinrude fired up with the first turn of the key after setting for 13 months.

    I live on the other side of the river from Harrison Bay. The water will be too low for me to launch from the neighborhood but of course there are other options.

    I do have a smoker that I would fire up but of course if we did something other than ribs we are looking at a 8+ hour cook. We could probably start kicking around ideas for a menu if you wanted to.
