    Talking Ft. Loudoun 6-14-2010

Got on the water at daylight with Michael and a Pastor friend and his two sons. Went chasing bluegill. Caught 50 plus and four really nice catfish. I spent most of the day "guiding"...retying lines, baiting hooks, and casting close to the trees for the kids. Had a blast with those boys today. Off the water at 11:00 AM just before we began to melt! A BIG THANKS KevinMays for his tip on fishing with frozen crickets!

Kevin...the "big ones" at Loudoun would be throwbacks at Douglas...we kept them alive in the well with some frozen water bottles and put them in a pond on the property of the church my friend preaches at.... Best of the day....maybe 7"...but still a bunch of fun!!!

Good trip Doc, it is fund just being out there and watching someone else catch those Bluegill that don't get to fish all the time. I have not been since I took those two young ladies last week and it looks like I will not get to go until the middle of next week. A lot of Farm work to get caught up on.
